ABSTRACT

Background: COVID-19 has significantly affected the socio-economy globally. Aprisindo director claimed that the socio-economy effects due to the COVID-19 pandemic are also encountered by the shoe company. Shoe company mapping revealed that 60% of companies experienced suffer demand, while the remaining 40% experienced moderate and high demand. The current research was done on a shoe company in Tangerang, which has many layoffs for about +or- 700 workers in April 2020. It occurred due to the COVID-19 pandemic, which has decreased goods order. This research aimed to know the effect of the COVID-19 pandemic on a shoe company in Tangerang by using SEM-PLS and identifying the strategic improvement suggestion in overcoming the COVID-19 pandemic on shoe company in Tangerang by using NGT (Nominal Group Technique) method.

ABSTRACT

During the Covid-19 Pandemic, improving employee performance for companies engaged in the banking industry is very necessary to maintain the sustainability of the company. This research aimed to analyze the influence of organizational commitment, perceived organizational support of the millennial employee performance through employee engagementas an intervening variable. This research used quantitative methods with a causal study approach. The results of the research showed that organizational commitment affects perceived organizational support, employee engagement, and employee performance. Organizational support has an effect on employee engagement and employee performance. Employee engagement has an effect on organizational performance. PT Bank DKI City Hall cluster can improve employee performance by evaluating the level of employee participation and providing rewards for this participation to increase organizational commitment, provide clear directions or strategies, hold regular meetings, receive input and complaints, also provide support to increase perceptions of support organization, and increase the company's concern for its employees, and conduct promotional programs to increase employee engagement.

ABSTRACT

Employee performance is becoming one of the phenomena in work, where the phenomenon that arises is the things that cannot be separated from the quality and quantity of workers in the company. This makes it interesting to explore to find out the truth that arises from the declining or rising performance of employees that will affect both the situation of the workers themselves and the company. This study uses qualitative method with GAP model. Researchers will analyze and identify through the phenomenon that arises in the company regarding the performance of workers, especially closely related to gender. Gender policy in the company is a principle or way based on the guidance of a company in making decisions or commitments that can directly affect the company for the better and also the workers in the company get the same rights and obligations between workers both women and men in the same scope. So that the gender policy in this company becomes one of the benchmarks of factors that affect gender performance in the company let alone the site of the covid-19 pandemic, the results of this study produce output in the form of Decree (SK), Gender Policy agreed by the company.
